Ty Dolla $ign has been enjoying the fruits of success with his current smash single “Paranoid.” Not only is the record climbing the charts on the Billboard Hot 100, but his most recent EP released through Taylor Gang Records and Atlantic Records peaked at #2 on iTunes the day of it’s release.

During his stay in New York, the Los Angeles native stopped by The Source office to discuss a number of topics including his latest body of work, the Beach House EP. Ty also informs us that he will indeed be a part of the highly successful summer tour, Under The Influence.

Dolla $ign also tells us about the Taylor Gang compilation album that is already done and full of joints, and says that his solo LP will be called Free TC and it’s tentatively scheduled to drop in the summer time.

During our sit-down with Ty we find out that the 28 year-old artist was a huge fan of
J Dilla and his production and lets us know his favorite beats from the late and talented producer. TY$ also reveals to us that John Mayer is probably one of the greatest musicians out and he’s killing a lot of people in the game.
