Kevin Hart and Ice Cube are laughing straight to the bank as it was revealed, Ride Along is number one at the box office for the third straight week.
The action comedy film raked in $12.9 million, beating out new releases, That Awkward Moment, starring rising actor Michael B. Jordan and Labor Day. Thus far, the film has raked in a total of $93 million.
The Tim Story directed film is reportedly in talks for a sequel, which is good because the cast members had nothing but high praises for one another.
“Working with Kevin has been fun, just seeing him be such a pro and get busy,” said Ice Cube during a sit-down with IAR. ”Not only on-set, but in meetings, he makes everybody feel good. He makes everyone feel part of the process.” Kevin Hart expressed similar sentiments, stating Cube is a “true professional.”
If you need more laughs, Hart’s new movie, About Last Night, is scheduled for release on Valentine’s Day and stars Michael Ealy and Regina Hall. As for those ”Friday” fans, no need to fret, according to Cube, production has already started.
