Managed by Tha Alumni’s Adrian Swish, Compton rapper AD is gunning for next in line.

Behind the leadership and strength of both DJ Ill Will (who’s both the CEO of Tha Alumni Music Group label and Kid Ink’s business partner & manager) and Kid Ink himself, the company landed itself a joint deal with 88 Classic/RCA Records at the beginning of last year [largely] off the massive independent success of Ink’s self-released mixtape Rocketshipshawty.

But that’s not all. Tha Alumni’s reach has spread way beyond two individuals, and throughout the last calendar year the groups other rostered artists and affiliates continued to plug away and establish their foothold in the music business. Some more than others, those names included Jahlil Beats, Cardiak, Sean Brown, S Dot B, KP, Ned Cameron, Alex Nazari & Adrian Swish. Now Adrian is a multi-talented cat, as he’s sub-divided his talents between everything from management and public relations work to shooting behind the camera. And in this case, he directed Compton-based rapper AD’s video to his newest release “Thang Thang” – a record that embodies much of the current West Coast/Bay Area sound – AD is currently under Swish’s umbrella, Swish MGMT.
