When it comes to talking about politics and the current state of America, celebs from all walks of life have been hesitant to speak up for fear of saying the wrong thing.

Wale is the latest star to give his two cents about new Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump and his effect on the country. TMZ caught up with the rapper at The Nice Guy in Hollywood and asked him a few questions about the new head of state. When asked what the Trump administration could do to bring unity to the country, he said, “I don’t think they really care.”

The D.C. rapper then admitted that if anything, President Trump is forcing people to unite against him, telling TMZ, “If there’s any silver lining in this shit, is that people of all walks of life are coming together. And that shit makes me feel proud for humanity. We got a wild person in charge right now, but what I see happening is less hate among different creeds.”

This isn’t the first time Wale has been open about his feelings regarding American politics. Last month, he blasted Tomi Lahren on Twitter when she attempted to diss him after he offered to “train her” in the track “Smile.”

Do you agree with Wale’s outlook on this new Trump era in America? Check out what else he has to say in the video above.
