New Orleans Police have issued a bench warrant for comedian Mike Epps behind an altercation that occurred in the Big Easy over All Star Weekend.
Epps was involved in a confrontation with a man who recognized the comic in Harrah’s Casino in the early morning hours of February 18. The victim claims that Epps and his friend Thomas Cobb launched an unprovoked attack on him, causing the casino security th call the police.
Epps and Cobb were arrested on battery charges and held on $1K bail. Both men were released the same night. Both men were scheduled for court Tuesday, February 21, but neither men appeared before the judge, which led to the warrants.
Epps’ lawyers have yet to make a statement about the altercation or the arrest.
