The Source Magazine caught up with Rita Ora today on Feb. 9 at Donna Karan’s DKNY Fall 2014 Presentation at Cedar Lake Studios.
Check out what Rita, who looked so fierce, told reporters before the show.
Tell us about what you are wearing?
Rita Ora: Obviously, DKNY, I mean I love this show it’s so much fun. It’s like a party. I walked it last season and it’s such a good vibe and it’s family and such a good energy, the music’s great always. I’m looking forward to seeing what Donna’s cooking up.
What can you tell us about “50 Shades of Grey”? We are so excited.
Rita Ora: I’m excited, too. We’re just filming at the moment and I think everybody’s been asking me, but honestly I can’t spoil it. So you’re all gonna watch it, it’s amazing and I’m just so happy to be a part of it.
What about Jason? We are all wondering how he will do.
Rita Ora: Great! He fits the role. Honestly, you have to watch it, when you watch it, it speaks for itself.
Is it close to the books?
Rita Ora: Of course, it came from the book, so it all starts from the book, but obviously it’s a movie so it’s about being entertained.
What’s your favorite thing about being on set?
Rita Ora: I’ve never done a film set before so what’s really cool about it is that I can fuck up and I can get away with it because it was the first time. But it was a good learning curve, it was an incredible experience.
Did you get to hang out with the cast?
Rita Ora: It’s all work.
Donna’s collection was titled “New York Mash Up.” It was inspired by New Yorkers on the street and the models on the runway were all real New Yorkers, some were well-known others just had cool style.
