Vado’s back.
Vado‘s on the third wind of his career, and it appears to be his best go-round yet. From the mixtape circuit with his then-running mate Cam’ron, to a major label deal at Interscope that never fully inflated, to now a deal with rap single impresario DJ Khaled. Khaled may not necessarily have a knack for selling albums, but he releases a lot of them (he just released his seventh LP, Suffering From Success, this past September, and in 6 years he’s released 4 Ace Hood LPs) and he’s sold over 12 million singles worldwide. Basically, Khaled gets release dates, and orchestrates hit records, and Vado could use a little bit of both.
With his EP, Sinatra, which is set to release in a couple hours, Vado looks to return to the mixtape circuit with a strong effort, and make a case for a major label album release. The lead single from the project, “Look Me In My Eyes”, features the three rappers–Rick Ross & French Montana, in addition to Vado–in top form, doing what they do best, anchoring Sinatra as it makes its voyage into the ruthless internet later this evening.
Watch the video, and check back with The Source later this afternoon for Vado’s Sinatra.
