Madonna and her eight-year-old son, David, attended this year’s Grammy Awards in identical attire, with only the gold grill teeth accessory missing from David’s.

‘She said she’d get me a grill for my birthday,” said David on the red carpet in an interview with Ryan Seacreast.

Now he has his own pair.

The “Like a Virgin,” singer posted to her Instagram page, a picture of David smiling with his gold grills with the caption, “Someone stole my Grilzzzzzzz!!!”

The iconic singer was “grillin’”on the red carpet, to the chagrin of most.

“It pisses everybody off when I wear my grill, so that’s why I wear it.  I wear it when I don’t have to eat. Actually, I’ve learned to eat with my grill in,” she said on the red carpet.

Madonna isn’t the first white artist to wear grills. Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry also sports the shiny accessory.
