King Push is in session.
Pusha T quietly outdid very stiff competition last year, releasing his My Name Is My Name album to decent sales and critical acclaim after being pushed back multiple times. The album would eventually be named The Source’s 2013 Album of The Year, and Pusha T’s solo career–which most critics believed would be a taut lesson in failure to launch–has now fully blossomed, to the point that he’s already begun recording his sophomore album, King Push.
In the midst of the 2 Good 2 Be TRU tour, which features himself, 2 Chainz & August Alsina, Pusha had the chance to chat quicly with FuseTV about the theme for his upcoming album, working with Pharrell vs working with The Neptunes as a collective, and Kanye‘s influence and input on My Name Is My Name.
