Always be careful around that “send” button
Being under the microscope of the public is a 24/7 thing when it comes to professional athletes especially when it comes to the world of Twitter. Following the fallout of the Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman case the political world has been on edge.
After hearing the verdict it seems that Victor Cruz’s emotions got the best of him with this tweet,”Zimmerman doesn’t last a year before the hood catches up with him.” Since than the tweet has been deleted with Cruz has apologizing.
In times like these with tensions and emotions high it is better to think before you tweet.
