The iconic and almost forgotten ’Carbon Fiber’ Nike Air Flightposite finally make their way back into retail tomorrow February 22.

Originally released back in 1999, the offspring of Nike’s Foamposite makes it return back in it’s OG form, using all Foamposite makeup, zipper shrouds and Nike’s Zoom Air cushioning system in tow.  The retro doesn’t stray too far off from its original looks, only adding a carbon fiber finish and Nike’s signature Swoosh logo in white.

One of the more coveted Nike Air Flightposite, it was surprising to see Nike bring the shoe back since over the last two years the company went Foamposite Pro and Foamposite crazy due to the rise and popularity of the “Galaxy” editions of the sneaker  a few years ago, two years to be exact. Will the Flightposte 1 live up to the hype as the Foamposite? We can only wait and tell after its official release tomorrow. As Nike currently has a “Knicks” colorway in the works.
