Lola Monroe’s got bands

Former Taylor Gang signee Lola Monroe dropped the visual for her newest single, “Band Up,” off of her 2013 Lipstick and Pistols project. The DMV bred artist abruptly parted ways with Wiz Khalifa’s independent label early fall, citing differences in business goals for the split. In between her relationship with Bad Boy artist Los and having their son last year, she managed to drop an interesting project featuring Juicy J, Cassie and hip hop hot head Azealia Banks.   

Clad in playboy bunny ears, a bejeweled crown and her signature lingerie, Monroe lays on a fur rug throwing her “bands”. The very aggressive artist raps about her competition as if there isn’t any, making a point to claim her lane in hip hop.
