Missouri has marked its fourth execution by lethal injection today. Micheal Taylor pleaded guilty and was sentenced to the death penalty in the year of 1991. He faced charges of abduction, kidnapping, rape and murder of a Kansas city teenager Ann Harrison as she waited for the school bus in the year of 1989. According to local news sources the federal court officials and the governor turned down the last minute appeal stating that the new execution drug they were using could in fact cause Taylor serious pain and suffering. The inmate was silent before the injection and offered no final words as two church members and relatives witnessed his death. The 15 year old victim’s father and two of her uncle’s was present as well in witnessing the inmates death but had nothing to say to the public. He was pronounced dead at 12:10am Wednesday morning at the Bon Terre state prison.
