Griffin has begun shipping out their PowerDock 5 iOS charging station, which they debut back at CES earlier this year. Griffin is looking to stop the the hoarding of outlets at home or in the office by developing a multi-port charge station.
The charge station comes with 5 individual USB ports that can support 10 watts of power, allowing for maximum charging speed on newer iPads and the iPhone 5. The power dock gives each device its own charging port section and its own clear backrest to check how much you’ve charged your device, or you can check the dock’s status light that lets you when your device is fully charged and ready for use.
The PowerDock 5 is now available on Griffin’s website for $100.
