HotOut

The high temperatures and humidity on the East Coast may have some of the folks in your hood looking a little sluggish this week, but leave if to Troy Ave to stay on his grizzly in a heat wave.

Having recently dropped his collective’s BSB Vol. 3 mixtape and appeared on the smooth Source-premiered Seth Narley single, “Playa Shit”, the rapper known as Harry Powder lets go of a cool jam to bump while you’ve got your head in the fridge. Appropriately titled, “HOT OUT” sees the Brooklyn MC surf over Scram Jones’ funky dance-infused production that’ll make you want to breakdance in front of an open fire hydrant.

Troy Ave takes to rhyming about all the things we love about shooters along with fishscale and plenty of NYC summer highlights like BBQ’s on the block, dice games, droptops, and bad biddies at outdoor hotspots. Ave stays on his summertime grind but clearly knows how to have a good time while clocking in.

Throw this on your “cruisin’ for honeys in bikinis” playlist and lookout for Troy’s debut album, New York City, coming sooner than you think.
