The Chicago MC turns it up a notch on his latest singles.

Rapper Lupe Fiasco is back on it with new hits this week, but this is not like the music we’ve grown to love him for. Instead Lupe decided to give us something new with his trap-themed tracks “DopeBoysAtAllStarWeekend” and “30′s (Snitches 2).”

“DopeBoysAtAllStarWeekend,” which serves as the prequel to “30′s,” takes us back to 2013′s All-Star Weekend through the dope dealer’s eyes. The production on the track is an upbeat one, definitely not something one would expect to hear from Lupe (Rocky, maybe). With Gizzle on the hook, “DBAASW” is an unforseen but compelling single for DROGAS (Lupe’s new alias).

Before “DBAASW,” however, we received “30′s (Snitches 2),” another track dedicated to the people who are ready to sing when things hit the fan. The SX-produced song sees Lupe on the track alone just a few hours after the first part of “$nitches” featuring Ty Dolla $ign was released.
