The American Diabetes Association EXPO® presented by Healthfirst is only two weeks away! Located at the Jacob Javits Convention Center-North Wing on Saturday, March 15 from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm. This family friendly FREE event has something for everyone.
This FREE event provides the community with a unique opportunity to learn about all things diabetes.

At the EXPO you will see:
Healthy eating demonstrations and tastings by Chefs Elsie Ramos, Jeff Vaden, Gina Keatley, Guddia Singh, Vincent Tropepe, Jenny Wang, and Ronaldo Linares, as well as Main Stage presentations about diabetes and your health!
Make sure to check out the My Health Advisor kiosks in the Ask the Expert booth (#672) to receive your own personalized plan to stay healthy. You will then be entered into a door prize drawing to win a $50 grocery store gift card!
Also, don’t forget to stop by the Family Fun, Active Living, Cultural, Por Tu Familia, Live Empowered and Ask the Expert areas too! Here you will be able to meet and get an autograph from New York Giants Offensive Lineman, Kevin Boothe, play interactive games, take fitness classes, dance, learn about managing your diabetes and take pictures at the ESPN sports desk!
Lastly, make sure to go to the Health Screening area to receive complimentary AlC, cholesterol, BMI, foot, and blood pressure screenings. Cardiovascular heart screenings will take place in the Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics booth.
