Choosing the Boston bomber to be featured on a cover of a magazine might not be the best choice one makes.

Rolling Stone Magazine featured Boston marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, on the cover of their magazine and have found themselves in the midst of widespread controversy.

Many people were offended by this release which resulted in the Mayor of Boston to pen a letter to the publisher of Rolling Stone, Wenner Media, with his disapproval of the featured cover. Reports have been made that Rolling Stone Magazine wouldn’t have went with the choice of the bomber had Kanye West not backed out of his cover.

The Yeezus rapper was scheduled to be a part of the August cover but chose to not partake due to the welcoming of his babygirl, North West. A Wenner Media representative has delinced to give further details about this situation.

Sales for the recent issue have not done well due to several establishments refusing to sell the magazine and consumers finding the cover distasteful.
