We have good news for future college students and high schoolers. The College Board is making some changes on the SAT, they are making the test a little easier for some of you. The college admission test which looks at scores from writing, math and literacy for college admission will answer some prayers, and hopefully you guys will get admitted to the college of your choice.
The board will now make the essay portion of the test optional. This format matches the format of the ACT, the other standardized test accepted by colleges.
The board is taking away the SAT’s guessing penalty which may help students get higher scores because the new SAT format mirrors the ACT. Students will be tested on actual course work they have taken instead of playing the guessing game. Twitter, on the other hand, thinks they can make revisions for the test with a new hashtag #NewSATQuestions.
