A few weeks ago Jesse Hill debuted the unofficial Beyoncé “Drunk in Love” Emoji video, and you loved it. If you didn’t see it yet, you should probably go do that right now. Be quick about it, though, because there’s a fresh cut of Emoji entertainment for you to sink your teeth into today. Hill’s latest vid for “Sanctified” by Rick Ross, featuring Kanye West and Big Sean, might be even better than its predecessor, too.

It’s an important time for Emoji. The Library of Congress recently accepted an Emoji translation of Moby Dick. The pictographs are central plot devices in a number of television shows (Girls, most notably), and Jesse Hill couldn’t have timed the advent of Emoji music videos better if he tried. He didn’t try, actually. In his words, “I’ve never done anything that’s gotten so much attention. I did it pretty fast, and I put it up in a hurry. I wasn’t going to spend more time on it, I wasn’t trying to make great work—there are a few parts that make me cringe. It could have been better,” he recently told Vogue. In spite of their accidental nature, these videos are amazing, right?

If you haven’t heard “Sanctified,” yet, be excited. This Rick Ross thumper is dipped in Kanye West retro-production, and it booms with DJ Mustard’s deep 808s. This is great hip-hop. Again, check out the video here for the full effect. So glad someone is finally using the eggplant Emoji the right way.
