Rashad Charjuan Owens, the man responsible for the deadly crash at SXSW, was reportedly an aspiring rapper.
Owens’ brother Lamar Wilson told an Austin newspaper that he was set to play a 1 a.m. show at Club 1808.
Owens, 21, raps under the name KillingAllBeatz or K.A.B254. He has music posted on SoundCloud under the latter.
He faces a charge of capital murder after being accused of plowing a car through a SXSW crowd early last Thursday morning (March 13). The crash left three people dead and 23 injured.
Other charges will be presented at the Travis County Grand Jury at a later date.
