Four men arrested for the Jump stunt off the WTC
NYPD have arrested one accomplice and three men who were parachuting off of the World Trade Center in September of 2013. The men by the names of James Brady, Kyle Hartwell, Marko Markovich, and Andrew Rossig were arrested and charged with burglary, reckless endangerment and jumping from a structure.
Kyle Hartwell is identified as the accomplice who watched Brady, Markovich, and Rossig parachute 1, 300 feet off of the WTC on September 30. One of the men stated that it was pretty easy sneaking onto the site late at night because there were no security guards whatsoever. So how were the men discovered? From photographic evidence from witnesses, video footage from around the WTC, and video footage the police found in the houses of the men.
Ironically so, the men have been arrested only a week after Justin Casquejo was arrested for also climbing on top of the building.
Here is what Port Authority Chief Security Officer Joseph Dunne had to say, ”The Port Authority joins the NYPD in condemning this lawless and selfish act that clearly endangered the public. It should be clear that the PAPD and NYPD will go to any length to bring those who defile the WTC site to justice.”
