Take a listen to Maryann’s new single “#CookingForBae”

Having made her debut on the scene back when she was featured on Lostribe’s 2011 single “No Other Word,” which also featured Talib Kweli, Maryann is back to make a name for herself with her new N8 the Gr8-produced single “#CookingForBae.”

For those who are unfamiliar and have yet to scroll through the CookingForBae Instagram account, it has garnered over 120,000 followers since last July and Maryann’s single has been picked up as the official theme song for the account.

Dubbed by her fans as the “Bae God,” a play on Lil B’s “Based God,” the Jill-of-all-trades not only sings and raps, but she dabbles in videography and graphic design as well.

Her forthcoming album Futuristic Always, which will include features from Devin the Dude, Chuuwee, Taktics and more, has been slated for an April 28 release.
