Mr. and Mrs. Carter took center-stage together last night at the Barclays Center.
Beyonce and Jay Z are one power couple that clearly can’t get enough of one another. It seems like everyday we’re hearing that Jay joins his beloved Bey on stage at yet another stop on her Mrs. Carter World Tour. First there was his romantic surprise drop-in in Philly, but this time around, Mr. Carter’s cameo was strategically planned. Now we know that Jay Z couldn’t bear the thought of not taking the stage before a crowd in the borough that bred him, regardless if they were there for his wifey and not him.
Beyonce was in the midst of belting “Bow Down” as Jay rose from beneath the stage – in typical boss fashion – transitioning into “Tom Ford” – the track on which he glorifies his baddie Bey from H town. King Bey briefly loaned hubby the spotlight while the crowd watched him do his thing. As he wrapped up the cut, Bey picked up “Bow Down” right where it left off before Jay’s epic interruption.
Attendees of Beyonce’s third and final show in Brooklyn certainly got their money’s worth.
