UEiaANjYoung Thug’s stirring ascent doesn’t happen without Dun Deal, the popular Atlanta trap deejay and architect behind “Stoner.” Thug’s tonal wailing and syncopated flows are perfectly backed by Dun’s heavy synth and whirring 808s, and on their latest joint “Treasure,” both sound more urgent than ever.

“Treasure” is the first release from Dun Deal’s upcoming project Behind A Silver Sky (B.A.S.S.), delivering on the frantic trap sound that should be expected throughout the mixtape. Thug’s first verse is one of his sharpest and most dexterous, with memorable punches like, “I ain’t Rick Ross but I love Gunplay!” Patois-spitting Zuse drops a few bars toward the end of the track to slow things down. We expect this to see club rotation ASAP.

It’s been another busy month for Young Thug, who recently remixed Drake on “The Blanguage.” A collaboration between the two, titled “Ew,” is expected to drop soon from Thug’s upcoming Metro Thuggin tape with producer Metro Boomin. Young Thug is also planning to release collaborative projects with Gucci Mane and Rich Homie Quan. We respect the hustle. Peep “Treasure” below and prepare to bump it all weekend.
