There are already so many reality shows on television that in order for a new one to succeed they have to somehow stick out from the crowd, or offer a different perspective from what viewers are use to. While female artists in the music industry has been covered by the likes of Love & Hip Hop and others, there hasn’t been a show that explores the friendships and support staff of those women in hip hop. However, Oxygen hopes to change that with their new show, aptly called Sisterhood Of Hip Hop.
Not much is known about the show at the moment, but what has been shared is enough to cause some excitement. Emcee Nyemiah Supreme is slated to star in the program, presumably detailing and documenting her trials on her road to rap stardom. Additionally, it was announced that Atlanta’s own T.I would be the executive producer. He isn’t new to the reality show game, already being responsible for over two syndicated series.
This could turn out to be a great show, and with the exuberance that Nyemiah Supreme tweeted the announcement, we think it will show us what her life is all about in an interesting way. We look forward to tuning into Sisterhood of Hip Hop soon.
