A Phoenix woman accused of throwing a show at Hilary Rodham Clinton has been released from police custody.
According to the Associated Press, Alison Michelle Ernst was given a misdemeanor disorderly conduct summons. She was released after being booked at the Clark County jail.
A Las Vegas police report says, “Ms. Ernst appeared to be in an agitated state but aware of what she had just done.”
If convicted, Ernst could face up to a year in the county lockup.
Former President George W. Bush experienced a similar incident back in December 2008 when an Iraqi journalist threw shoes during a news conference in Baghdad.
