Nothing’s worse than burning a hole in your car seat or a couch with a cigarette or what have you. Thankfully, on a few levels, Mello Music Group’s producer Apollo Brown gives us his Cigarette Burns EP that won’t ruin your upholstery. Instead, it’ll add to the comfort you get from sitting wherever you are with its rhythmic goodness. The EP takes a few tracks off of the Detroit artist’s upcoming soundtrack Thirty Eight, which the label describes as “somewhere between the end of 70s heroin and the beginning of 80s crack, like day prostitution in Detroit.” There isn’t much more to add to that.

Below are some film posters that Apollo Brown created to match the three tracks. Look out for Thirty Eight on April 29th. You can pre-order your digital copy HERE (includes instant download of “The Answer”), CD copy (includes 5″ vinyl with 2 tracks featuring Roc Marciano) HERE, and 180g vinyl (includes 45 with 2 bonus instrumentals) HERE.
