It’s a party
Pharrell‘s had an interesting week, headlined by his in-depth Oprah Prime interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which he cried talking about the success that was/is “Happy” and addressed the “this is the new black” he made to GQ. At Coachella however, Skateboard decided to have some fun, bringing out some of his close friends and frequent collaborators to perform their biggest hits on one of music’s biggest stage. Usher joined him for “U Don’t Have To Call”, Jay Z for “I Just Wanna Love You”, Pusha T for “Grindin’” & T.I. for “Blurred Lines”. There were no live streams for the second weekend so you can see well-shot Instagram clips of all these moments below. Pharrell may be announcing a headlining tour in support of his latest album, G I R L, so cross your fingers for that.
