Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah was named the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year on Sunday.

On Tuesday night,  the NBA honored the Bulls center by formally presenting him with the award before the Bulls’ game 2 NBA Playoffs matchup against the Washington Wizards. Retired center, Dikembe Mutombo, now an NBA global ambassador presented Noah with the award to the delight of fans at the United Center in Chicago.

Despite Noah’s hearty 20 points and 12 rebounds last night, the Bulls lost game 2 in overtime with a final score of 101-99.
