NFL and NFLPA to meet in the middle on Miller suspension
The NFL and NFLPA are currently at odds over how long Broncos’ All-Pro linebacker Von Miller should be suspended. Back in July reports surfaced that Von Miller had violated the league’s substance abuse policy despite Miller claiming his innocence.
Miller’s appeal of the suspension was supposed to be heard this week, but the league postponed the hearing due to “complications.” Now the NFL and the NFL Players Association are looking to land in the middle in regards to the suspension length.
The NFL is pushing for an 8-game suspension while the NFLPA is seeking a 4-game suspension. If you do the math the median of the numbers four and eight is the magical number six.
