Some unfortunate news for rap fans all around and possibly a sign of bad things to come in the near future: Paid Dues 2014 was cancelled. Founder and rapper, Murs, took to his facebook page to announce the news and to give some more information to dedicated followers. One of the biggest rapcentric festivals in California, it has hosted some big names in the past, last year Black Hippy headlined.

After cancelling the Northeastern leg of their ever popular Rock the Bells travelling festival, it seems that Guerrilla Union has been having some financial challenges. This has led to the cancellation of this years Paid Dues,  of which they were a major partner. Murs promises to try his hardest to bring the concert back in 2015, but in the meantime you can check out his statement below.
