After a successful workout the Cleveland Browns have decided to sign quarterback Vince Young to a one-year deal.
Young last played with the Green Bay Packers during the preseason but failed to make the final roster. He kept hope alive though that he would return to the NFL and refused to play in the CFL (Canada Football League) like Chad Johnson who recently signed a two-year deal with the Montreal Alouettes.
Young isn’t in the clear yet however, he still has to make the Browns final 53-man roster. The Browns also signed quarterback Tyler Thigpen and have QB Brian Hoyer who was successful last season before suffering a torn ACL.
The Browns are also expected to take a quarterback in the upcoming draft. With QB’s like Johnny Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles on the board, things could get interesting.
