“Treat yourself”

Oh brunch. According to some historians, the weekend meal was first born from England’s hunt breakfasts, which were lavish multi-course meals that featured heavy items such as chicken livers, eggs, meats, bacon, fresh fruit and sweets.  Other historians say that Sunday brunch derives from the practice of Catholics fasting before mass and then sitting down for a large midday meal. Despite the hazy history, brunch—so cleverly combined the words “breakfast” and “lunch”—has become a favorite activity among Americans, especially those who enjoy participating in the alcohol friendly aspects. Here’s a short list of ‘Dos and Dont’s” for those who enjoy the late nights they won’t remember and the brunches they won’t forget.
