The OG “Concord” colorway of the Air Jordan XI low is set to hit store shelves over the weekend. This color of the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low is the second colorway to drop in 2014.
It revisits the classic colorway of white, black, concord, which features a white upper which consist of canvas and black patent leather, a white midsole and an icy translucent outsole. The low top version of this shoe was first spotted almost 20 years ago when Michael Jordan wore them at the championship parade celebration of the Chicago Bulls in 1996. Surprisingly, Jordan Brand didn’t make this a limited release, so it will make it more available.
For sneakerheads looking to pick up a pair this weekend via Nike’s Nikestore, anticipate high traffic and Nike handling the release terribly. For the last two weekend Nike has announced though their Twitter account that they will release the sneaker at 10 a.m. instead of the 8 a.m. launch time. The change could actually bring more traffic to Nike’s site because Sneakerheads on the west coast can pick up a pair at 7 a.m. intend of 5 a.m.
