Bambi-The Source

Her Source got the chance to sit down with the beautiful Bambi as she dishes on the new season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, her take on Donald Sterling & the Sundy & Brandi beef, and her upcoming projects.

Check out the interview here:

Since you are no longer on Basketball Wives LA, what is your take on the Sundy and Brandi situation? and do you still keep in contact with Malaysia and Draya?

Bambi: As far as Sundy, I thought she was super out of line and I think she was really reaching for some attention for some reason this season and I’m glad that I didn’t have to experience around her to be honest. As for Brandi, I never met her but I’ve always known that she is a close friend of Malaysia, I thought it was inspiring for her to share her story. Malaysia is like family, I have a relationship with her family and with her kids. Draya, I speak to her every now & then it’s all love.

You made your first appearance on the last season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, what can fans expect this season?

Bambi: This season, they could expect a different side of me, when I was on Basketball Wives LA, my situation was a little different because I was hanging around girls but my fans get to see me in a relationship and that is a side of me that the public ever seen.

Speaking of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, what is your take on the Mimi & Nikko sextape?

Bambi: I mean, it was shocking to see that Mimi had a sextape but I mean you know their adults and adults have sex. But maybe you know it’s inappropriate because she has a child but outside of that it is what it is.

What is your take on Donald Sterling and do you think the outcome was fair?

Bambi: I absolutely think that the outcome is fair because he’s been what this organization was built on. Do you know how many Black people are in the NBA that looked up to this guy and it was inappropriate outta mind. Whatever he has coming to him, he deserves it. It’s 2014, who still makes those type of comments and even if you that’s how you felt, you need to hold that s**t in.

Can we expect some music from the Lipstick Gang in the works?

Bambi: Absolutely. I’m working on a whole bunch of new music, I’ve been recording while filming on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and as the show comes on, I would be able to put my music out but most definitely music is coming soon.

Now that you’re single, who is your Man Crush Monday?

Bambi: Not single right now, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have a Man Crush Monday and of course it’s Kobe

Can we expect a sequel to Bamlanta?

Bambi: I’m thinking about it. Bamlanta was my first project to a lot of people who knew me before tv and they’re really hoping for a follow up.

Besides, the show do you have any upcoming projects in the works?

Bambi: I have the music and putting out an EP. I have been working on this organization the Pink Out Poverty and I’ve been lost in that and focusing on the organization and making it grow.
