In an admirable effort to raise money and awareness for cancer patients, a select group of media icons have teamed up to participate in an All-Female Football Tournament set to take place on Sunday August 24 at Aviator Sports and Event Center in Brooklyn. The All-Star event, dubbed “The Good F,” is presented by The Richburg Group and will benefit StudpidCancer, an organization that provides for and supports young adults battling cancer.

“This All-Star female flag-football fundraiser is intended to empower young adults in a meaningful manner,” says Rosa Armstrong, the founder of The Richburg Group, a production firm whose sole purpose is producing fundraisers for varied philanthropic causes. Through use of social media and a strategic public relations program, awareness of their efforts continues to expand across the globe. “We want to build a connection between today and the past, always making it fun and modern,” says Armstrong.

The tournament will host 10 teams, each comprising of 10 females. Among the growing list of celebs who will take the field are Kaylin Garcia of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop, Graciie of Nick Cannonʼs MTV2 comedy series Wild Nʼ Out, and Camronʼs fiancé, model/recording artist Julie Castaneda aka Juju. Each will captain their respective team and compete for a gold medal. There will also be a prize awarded to the team that raises the most money and also for the team that has the sexiest outfits.
