rza_raekwon_gzaSince last year, fans of the Wu-Tang Clan have been held in a limbo of sorts. 2013 marked the twentieth anniversary of their debut album, Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, which was originally going to be celebrated with a brand new release from the famed hip hop collective. RZA stated in a number of interviews that the group were working on a project, A Better Tomorrow, and even dropped a single from the highly secretive recording session. Things were seemingly on track, until it came out in a Grantland article that The Abbot and Raekwon were not seeing eye to eye about the entire scenario.

The Chef had been one of the only emcees in the Clan not to record verses for the brand new album, stating differences in business outlook. While every party maintained that there was no bad blood between them, fans were still unsure whether they would ever get their hands on the fabled full length. Well, their prayers have been answered.

Today on the Wu-Tang Clan’s official blog, a short post went up, with long lasting effects. It stated that Raekwon and the RZA have made up, and that the Chef was on his way to the studio to record his verse for A Better Tomorrow. This is important and exciting news; if you thought that it wasn’t coming, you should definitely be in shock. We can’t wait to hear the album, but we will keep you posted on all the news we hear while the keep us waiting.
