Jus Daze reps the empire state on his latest release.
It’s only fair that New York, the birthplace of hip hop as we know it, would have a number of love songs written about her. After all, who can deny her flyness? New York is the kind of beautiful woman that you can’t always understand why you love her, or why you stay. But you do, and you’re glad, because for all her flaws, goddamn, she’s gorgeous.
In yet another ode to the concrete jungle, Jus Daze reminiscences on his relationship with his hometown of “New Yawk,” rapping about the gritty, hard-knock life that is reality for many New Yorkers.
“We rap about when we might see a better day, cause it seems only the poverty rate elevates,” the Queens emcee raps over production from Stradivarius.
