Widow of victim driving the Porsche that claimed the lives of her husband and actor Paul Walker files wrongful death lawsuit

thesource.com, the sourceAccording to Sac Bee, Kristine M. Rodas, the widow of the male victim driving the Porsche that claimed both his and Paul Walker’s life back in November, is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the manufacturer, declaring that flaws in the vehicle was the cause of the fatal crash.

In the suit, Rodas claims that her husband, Roger W. Rodas,  was driving at 55 MPH prior to the car crashing. Although the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT has a speed of over 200 MPH, Rodas insists that the vehicle was without a properly installed crash cage, as well as safety features located in the gas tank that could have possibly saved both of the victim’s lives.

In addition to that, it is also stated, in the lawsuit, that the result of the vehicle spinning out of control and hitting multiple trees was due to a defect in the vehicle’s suspension system.

Mark Geragos, an attorney hired by Rodas, stated that after hiring notable experts to examine the crash, the results determined that the vehicle was not, in fact, speeding at 94+ MPH as previously declared in the initial investigation.

According to the suit filed by Rodas’, her husband had been trained as a race car driver.

Roger W. Rodas left behind two daughters.
