ben-affleck2When it was announced that Ben Affleck would portray Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, in the upcoming Superman V. Batman film, fans were a little confused. After his poor showing in Daredevil, some enthusiasts were not excited to hear that he would suit up as their favorite superhero, especially after Christian Bale’s excellent tenure in the role. While the jury is still out, and probably won’t come in until the movie hits theaters, fans can finally get their first look at the caped crusader today.

Sporting significantly shorter ears and a brand new Batmobile, Affleck’s new Batman isn’t too unfamiliar. Zack Snyder, the director, has decided to keep it relatively familiar, including the signature ominous imagery. We have high hopes that the film will be as epic as the photo is, but we will have to wait and see. Keep it locked to The Source for all updates.
