Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah Whitehead explained to investigators how an argument with their 34-year-old mother Jarmecca Whitehead escalated and resulted in death in their apartment in Georgia. After they mocked officers, and joked around when they were trying to get a confession about the incident. Four years later they finally told investigators their full side of the story. “It wasn’t like a fight on the street, it was more like a fight until somebody dies” Said Jasmiyah. It started when the mother of the two got upset with them for oversleeping and began threatening them with a pot in her hand that she grabbed from the stove. After the sister’s wrestled with their mom for the pot, she then picked up a knife and told them to back up. The fight started in the kitchen and went into the living room; where Jasmiyah smashed a red vase over her mom’s head. That didn’t stop the women or the fight, when jasmiyah claimed her mom bit her in her chest and would not get off. She began chocking her mom with a ribbon medallion she was won as a child. Then teen then grabbed the knife and started stabbing her mom. Jasmiyah told Rockdale County district attorney Richard Read during her interview that she continuously apologized to her mom as she carried her body through the bedroom. Jermecca was still alive after the stabbing and the sisters dragged her bleeding body into bathroom tub; where they drowned her. Shocking to know that after the situation that went down in the apartemtnt, the two went to change their clothes and went to school as if nothing happened. They held their innoncenece for several moths until investigators arrested them for murder. Each of them was sentenced to 30 years in prison after they pleaded guilty to voluntary man slaughter.Watch the full confession here  .
