The AND 1 Remix Tournament continued yesterday with two crucial semi final games to determine who will play for the tournaments championship.
The first game of the day started at 3PM with team Born Ready, which is coached by Indiana Pacer Lance Stephenson taking on the team of AND 1 Live. The game was back and fourth with both teams going blow for blow to earn that coveted spot in the championship game. Things went down to the wire with the AND 1 Live squad leading by one point with 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter. In a crucial inbound pass, team Born Ready drove the ball down the lane to hit a clutch shot that would make the difference and send them to the final dance.
In the second game of the day Jermaine Dupri’s Global 14 squad took on the Summer Pro League. The Summer Pro League team got off to a quick start leading at one point
16-2 in the first quarter. The pace of the game pretty much remained in favor of the Summer Pro League as they dominated the scoreboard and helped gain the final spot to the championship game.
If your Philly today, make sure you come out to check the Championship game today between Born Ready and Summer Pro League at 5PM, but before that fans will be treated to a special dunk contest that will take place at 4PM.
