The NBA has fined Pacers guard Lance Stephenson $5,000 for flopping in game two of the Eastern Conference Finals. In that game, the Pacers lost to Miami  87-83 on Tuesday night. With the fine Stephenson becomes the first player to be fined for violating the flop rule the NBA has installed this season. The new rule states the player who flops does not get a warning but will be fined for the first flopping offense no questions asked.

With less than four minutes led in the third quarter and the Pacers up leading 57-53, Miami forward LeBron James brings the ball up the court to start the Heat’s possession, when he reaches the three-point line James readies a three-pointer with Lance Stephenson trailing behind. LeBron uses his right arm to move Stephenson away who then tosses his arm in the air and throws his head back as he falls to the floor.

With no time the spare the internets called the guard a flopper and wasted no time creating flopping memes of Lance Stephenson in different situations.
