The world is becoming more and more dependent on their mobile devices. During this age of advanced computing, sometimes having a laptop can be too much to carry around and could take up valuable space in your backpack or luggage. The people at Microsoft think they can solve all these problems all while getting some serious work done, as they introduce the Surface Pro 3.
This time around, Microsoft claims the third generation Surface has the processing power of a laptop, with the power of a 4th-generation Intel Core processor, a whopping 512 hard drive and the option of 8 GB ram, which is all put together inside a light weight tablet that comes a with 12″ HD screen. With the option to handle popular software apps like a full version of Microsoft Office (not a scaled down version for tablets) and Adobe CC Suites just to name a few. An added plus with the Surface line has always been the optional keyboard with a kickstand for angles up to 150 degrees, the screen has the option to recognize handwriting of the user.
While the Surface has an uphill battle with the iPad, the new Surface should turn some heads with all the bumped up specs and options. Hopefully for Microsoft third is a charm, as we all know the Surface tablet hasn’t been well received by the public hopefully this go around will be a bit different.
Preorders for the tablet will be taken today and shipping will take place on June 20 on Microsoft’s website.
