Chicago has been getting a lot of attention recently. With acts like Chief Keef, Vic Mensa, and Chance The Rapper tearing up the internet and critics hearts, its easy to see why. Sasha Go Hard has been steadily building her buzz underground and around the interwebs during the rise of the aforementioned emcees. Thanks to her recent release–Nutty World, she is poised to become a major player in hip hop.
Her unique style, which can be described as a mix of Chief Keef’s intensity with Chance the Rapper’s unique flow structure and voice, gives Sasha a sound that is all her own. She is different–nutty if you will–in everything she does: her dance, her rhymes, her album art, and her voice.
You can get a first hand Sasha Go Hard experience in her new video “Spazz Out”. She is seen doing her dance, supported by a group of females from various age groups, in a dimly light car lot. It is a simple visual, but it is striking enough to hold your interest. Her rhymes are on point, making it clear that you would want to stay on her good side, lest she have to spazz out on you.
Check out the video above. Tell us what you think? Are you down with this young Chicago emcee movement?
