We don’t believe you, Bryan.

Bryan Cranston, known to some as the confused dad on Malcolm In The Middle, and to others as the pop culture paradigm-shifting semi-evil genius Walter White from Breaking Bad, has f*cked our heads up. The highly publicized, anticipated and dramatic season finale to Breaking Bad found Walter White seemingly bleeding out on the floor of his beloved crystal meth lab at the episode’s outro, and the consensus was, as expected, White had died chasing his power.

In an interview with CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield, Cranston engaged in a sly exchange with Banfield that sent Breaking Bad fans into an understandable frenzy

Cranston: “Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything.”

Banfield: “Is he dead?”

Cranston: “I don’t know.”

Banfield: “No movie? No nothing? No Walter White ever again?”

Cranston: “Never say never.”

Lord have mercy. Was he teasing, or could the greatest series ever make a grand return to the small screen?
