Flint, Michigan born and Helena-West Helena,Arkansas raised, indie rapper Ke’Ontae Otis is a self-proclaimed Northern/Southern Hip-Hop artist.
The lyricist who goes by the stage name Kayy Ohh, has a list of goals that seem simple: pushing forward to bigger places and having open minded ideas and think outside the box within life itself.
Having had his videos featured on MTV 2 and MTV Jams, his goal is to take his buzz to the next level.
Kayy Ohh recently dropped the video for Drop It (Twerk Song) and has gotten good reviews in Arkansas.
According to Kayy Ohh, the concept of the song is to catch attention of those who love to dance. “I made this song for the Ladies, Kayy Ohh tells The Source.
“They’re the trend setters who spread the music.”
Currently residing in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Kayy Ohh is managed by his father, Bobby Butler, owner of Big Zeke Productions. Kayy Ohh also runs his own label, Ballin Forever Music Group and he loves making music that he wants to make without having to answer to anyone. “Music is the strongest form of magic,” he said.
“I don’t make music for eyes. I make music for ears.”
Kayy Ohh caught up with The Source and shared more insight on his life. Here’s the Scoop:
The Source: What new projects do you have brewing?
Kayy Ohh: At the moment, I’m working on my Album Ke’Ontae Otis Vs. Kayy Ohh, which features some of my artists ( FMG [ Fast Money Gang ] ) Under Ballin Forever Music Group. This Album will come out of my pocket. I have multiple producers who have produced some of the tracks. The Album contains 15 songs and will be on iTunes , Google Play and Amazon.
The Source: What inspires you?
Kayy Ohh: My fans inspire me along with Kevin Hart. Even though he’s a comedian and I do music, he still insipres me because not only is he a comedian but he tells Stories. He’s being successful for his family . He’s an awesome father, he doesn’t think much of himself, while knowing he’s a lot.
The Source: What’s makes you different?
Kayy Ohh: My effort makes me different. I’ve tried to work with multiple artists whereas starting groups. Nut the dedication isn’t just there with them like it is for me. People expect the finest things to be handed to you when they won’t. You have to work hard for what you want. You Receive what you put in.
The Source: What gives you the most joy in what you do?
Kayy Ohh: My Daughter & the Dedication that I have along with the Determination.
The Source: Where do you see yourself short term and longterm?
Kayy Ohh: Short term, I see myself still being successful and achieving goals , Long term, I see myself being very inspirational and a CEO like LA Reid.

Kayy Ohh: 50 Cent , John Legend , Birdman YMCMB, DJ Khaled and myself!
