"Nutcracker" drink If you live in New York City, you know that Nutcrackers are a summer staple. For a cool $5, you can get you a drink, straight out of the quarter-water bottles that will get you right in no time. For those who don’t know what a nutcracker is, let’s take to Urban Dictionary, shall we?

Summertime alcoholic mixed frozen drink, usually mixed by people at home and sold on the street and by word of mouth. Different flavors include Nutcracker, Finding Nemo, and Spongebob.

If, by chance, you can’t get them at your local corner store, or you don’t know anyone making deliveries, or you’re not at a poppin’ event where you would inevitably see someone with a cooler rolling around, we found some recipes you can try for yourself. And, hey, you might even make it your own summer hustle. You’ll see the recipes are pretty similar but still different enough to make other flavors.
