These days, everybody is dating outside of their race. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian recently tied the knot, actor Robert De Niro has been known to have a preference for African American women and our nation’s president, Barack Obama is of both Kenyan and white descent.

So what’s the big deal about dating someone of a different race? In 2014 does it really matter? Should it matter?
